Robert Half Management Resources - Columbus is looking for a Senior Accountant for ongoing opportunities. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast- #150;paced environment to support the firm's continued success. Role Responsibilities #149; Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables primarily in the compensation area (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) #149; Prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting #149; Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests. #149; Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) #149; Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors #149; Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations #149; Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process #149; Participate in various department-wide initiatives #149; Ad-hoc projects as necessary If interested in the Senior Accountant position, please forward your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]

Job Requirements

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred #149; 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience #149; Oracle 11i or higher, or other ERP system experience #149; Strong Excel skills required #149; Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus #149; Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail a plus #149; Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment #149; Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance #149; Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required #149; Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers #149; Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines #149; Strong time management and organizational skills #149; Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work independently Desired Skills #149; Hyperion systems #150; Essbase/Smartview experience a plus #149; Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems #149; Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
